I understand that the first days and weeks afer having a baby can be very overwhelming. During this time, I will do my best to accomodate you and your family's needs within the confines of the therapeutic relationship.
For the first visit after a baby is born, I offer a home-visit. Please know that should you choose this option, there is no need to entertain me. I am there to support you, work with you on the struggles you may be having, celebrate the joys, and meet your little one. Please also note that insurance will not pay for transportation time, so that will be private pay for a home-based session. I will not do more than 2 home visits per patient, per birth.
If for some reason, you or your baby is hospitalized for an extended period of time, I also offer hospital visits when possible. As this is a bit unusual, pay arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Please always feel welcomed to bring your baby to therapy with you.
